The Next Light Novel Award is now live. You can vote for the upcoming light novel you enjoy, with the ability to return to the website and vote once per day.
You can vote through this form, but it’s aimed at Japanese audiences and the website doesn’t auto-translate for the most part. As such, I’ve put together a quick guide.
Kakeru Takamine has asked for the help of overseas readers of his novel, How to Melt the Ice Queen’s Heart, which we reviewed highly, but the below guide will work for any title you choose. Ice Queen is currently unlikely to get a volume 3, but there is always the chance that a strong showing of interest in these awards may drive sales and increase the chance.
The example images use Ice Queen, but you can vote for the title you prefer. There are plenty of titles, including the soon to be translated “I Kissed my Girlfriend’s Little Sister?!”
In the case of the image below, it’s circled Ice Queen’s button in green. Click the yellow button.
Next you will be taken to a page with yellow and black buttons. Press the yellow button.
The next page is similar. Just click the red button.
This should complete the voting process. You will see a ‘Thank you for the vote’ message as below. Remember that you can vote once per day until December 15th 2021.
