The news was presented as a message from the game’s producer, Naoki Yoshida and the news he shared wasn’t too great. The circumstances brought upon by the COVID-19 pandemic have caused the development of the title to be pushed back by almost half a year, mostly due to communication issues between members of staff who continued their work from home. On the plus side, the team is set to make their next big reveal for the game sometime this Spring!

It’s hard to believe, but Atlus’ smash hit, Persona 5‘s western release will be five years old this April! If you never had a chance to play it, if you’re a PlayStation user with a PlayStation+ subscription, you’ll be thrilled to hear it’s coming as one of the free games for January!
