Visual Novel News:
No official announcements have been made by NekoNyan at the time of writing, but it looks like Hatsuyuki Sakura (also known as Hatsuyuki Sakura: White Graduation) from developer SAGA Planets will be releasing on December 12th, 2024. The Steam store page has been updated with this date and the co-publisher Hikari Field has also announced it via Bilibili (thanks to KEVINNGW808 for the tip on the latter).
Kawano Hatsuyuki is a third-year student at Shirosaki Academy. Given the school is designed to help prepare students for higher education, Hatsuyuki is one of the rare few troublemakers. He begrudgingly comes to school day after day since he’s in danger of not being able to graduate. The month is December when the first snow of the year falls. While wandering around the older parts of town, Hatsuyuki stumbles upon a beautiful girl adorned in a white dress, who seems to be looking for a rabbit amidst the snow. A few days after that peculiar nighttime encounter, the girl, Sakura, transfers to Hatsuyuki’s school–to take Hatsuyuki along for his final winter. The seasons change, and those 1,095 long days finally come to an end. Winter has faded, and spring is in the air. Looking back fondly on those snowy memories, the boy stands tall as he’s about to graduate. From the first snow to the blooming cherry blossoms… Congratulations.
Similarly, while JAST USA haven’t made an announcement via their normal channels at the time of writing, the release date of Yamizome Liberator has been updated to December 12th, 2024 on Steam, though it remains as TBD on the JAST Store pre-order page.

Shiravune have announced the release date of Night Shift Nurses (Yakin Byoutou) as December 17th, 2024. This is the English release of the 2024 remake with new HD artwork by Metawo Ueda, a refined UI, and more H-animations than the 1999 original version. It will be coming to Steam and other platforms.

Gaming News:
We’re now only a few short weeks away from the highly anticipated return of Sonic the Hedgehog to the big screen! We got the final trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 last week and it gave us more of a look at the film’s plot, action scenes, and Shadow the Hedgehog being played by Keanu Reeves.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 arrives in theaters on December 20th.

The next big hero shooter is only a few days away and we got the final big reveal for the launch of the game! Marvel Rivals released its launch trailer last week which revealed the final characters coming to the launch roster. They include Iron Fist, Black Widow, Cloak and Dagger, Squirrel Girl, and Wolverine.

Anime News:
Anime’s most famous thief is returning to theaters next year with an all-new movie! Lupin the Third The Movie is the fourth movie in the Lupin franchise from Redline director Takeshi Koike, though this will be his first feature-length project for the franchise. Telecom Animation Film is handling the animation production.
Lupin the Third The Movie will be released in Japanese theaters in 2025.
