Shiravune have announced the upcoming release of Kunado Chronicles by Purple Software, who also developed titles such as Amatsusumi and ChronoClock. It will launch on the 7th April 2023.

Medibang have revealed that The Alchemist of Ars Magna (Soushin no Ars Magna) by ninetails will be releasing 31st March, 2023 on Steam. This is the same developer by the VenusBlood titles, including VenusBlood Frontier International which we looked at previously.

An adult patch will be available.

Once upon a time, the founder of alchemy led people from a dying world to a new land.In this fertile and harmonious land where man-made “Gods of Creation” act as guardians, humans lead a peaceful existence. However, a long time has since passed, and the “Dust” of death began to engulf Arcaus. Gods gone mad become heinous “Gods of Misfortune” and begin to devour the world, and ash demons born of dust bare its fangs at the living. Like burnt pieces of paper and worm-eaten clothes, the world finds itself in an era where the earth was being eroded by the ashes. The people were not entirely unprepared, however. Alchemists who wished to carry on the miracles brought upon by its founder gather at the Cagliostro Academy, a school boasting the highest levels of wisdom.

Bithell Games has announed the release date of Tron: Identity, the much spoken about Tron visual novel. It launches on the 11th of April, 2023 on both Nintendo Switch and PC.

MangaGamer has opened pre-orders for Lykt, which will be releasing on the 20th April, 2023.

As we wait for more news on the future of the Persona series, no one would have suspected that this would be the franchise’s next gamePersona 5: The Phantom X is a free-to-play mobile game developed by Black Wings Game Studio and published by Perfect World Games, with support from both SEGA and Atlus. As of now, the game has only been announced to be released in China, but a test of the game is coming to the PC on March 29th.

The action RPG spinoff of the Final Fantasy series is making its way to Steam very soon! Previously exclusive to the Epic Games Store on PC, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin will be available to purchase on Steam on April 6th. On top of that, the game will also be available at a permanently decreased price, so if you’ve not played it before, now is your chance!

It’s been over half a decade since its initial release, but Falcom’s Tokyo Xanadu eX+ is coming to another platform. This new Nintendo Switch port will include a speed-up mode to boost the speed of gameplay, and will also include all the original game’s DLC.

Tokyo Xanadu eX+ comes to the Nintendo Switch on June 29th in Japan. No western version has been announced at this time.

Anime News:

A classic wrestling property from Shonen Jump is getting a brand new anime project over fifteen years after the last! Based on the Kinnikuman manga by Yudetamago, the original anime adaptation turns forty years old this year. To celebrate the anniversary, a modern animated adaptation was announced via a teaser visual, but no other information is known at this time.

Arguably the most popular iteration of Gust’s Atelier series, Atelier Ryza has received three games with the same protagonist. Ryza’s popularity just seems to keep on growing, as an anime project based on the first game is now in the works! The project was announced through a trailer and key visual.

The Atelier Ryza anime will premiere in Summer 2023.

Looking for more from Nasa and Tsukasa’s love story? Good news: TONIKAWA: Over the Moon for You is getting a second season this April! The series is based on the manga of the same name by Kenjiro Hata and tells the story of a couple who instead of going down the dating route decide to get married immediately before they decide to properly date each other.

If the new anime series reveal wasn’t enough, the third entry in Ryza’s journey is releasing this week! Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key introduces the Key system to give you access to enhanced gameplay features, and you’ll need them with eleven party members to recruit and a massive world to explore.

Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key launches for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on March 24th.

Capcom’s Resident Evil series has been on a roll lately with both brand-new installments and remakes of their beloved titles, and they hope to keep up that momentum with a reimagining of one of the most successful games in the franchise! Resident Evil 4 is getting the remake treatment and boasts new gameplay updates, expanded locations, and detailed visuals made possible with the RE Engine.

The Resident Evil 4 remake releases for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, and PC on March 24th.
