NekoNyan have announced that Secret Agent (Secret Agent ~Kishi Gakuen no Shinobi Naru Mono~) by developer ensemble will be launched on the 29th of September, 2023.

This love awakening is overwhelming. The family of our protagonist — Mikage Jin — are descendants of a line of ninjas responsible for national security since the Edo era. Jin was born and raised to follow in the footsteps of his secret agent mother as a ninja in training. He’s been ordered to infiltrate Touka Academy undercover in order to solve a series of incidents from a self-proclaimed “Bat.” Having successfully infiltrated the academy with his AI partner Momoka, he is able to carry out his mission without raising suspicion, while deepening his friendship with his classmate Kanon Mayfield, the knight Shirogane Kagura, captain Renjouji Main, and junior Amenomori Yui. However due to an unfortunate accident, Jin’s identity is exposed, and with his true identity revealed, it would mean failure for his mission, however… Please make me a ninja!! Will Jin still be able to fulfill his mission?

Aksys Games has launched Norn9: Last Era on Nintendo Switch. This is the fandisc of Norn9: Var Commons, which was launched earlier this year in March, 2023.

Twelve espers with superhuman powers brought together on a floating ship by a mysterious multinational entity known only as The World… Their story together may have ended, but their own are just beginning. Past, present, and future converge in Norn9: Last Era’s three different story modes, including explorations of the characters’ pasts before their lives together on the ship, retellings of the events of Norn9: Var Commons from new perspectives, and tales taking place after the events of the first game.

Gaming News:

As is standard for Nintendo, they announced a Nintendo Direct a day before it went live, with this installment being purely focused on Mario’s next 2D adventure! Super Mario Bros. Wonder got a ton of updates, such as the announcement of many playable characters, varied locations, and new power-ups, but there was more to show. The Wonder Flower mechanic dramatically changes how a stage is played and is sure to be both trippy and fun. There is also a badge system to give you a unique ability to change up the gameplay. If you want to play with friends or family, you’re also in luck, as the game supports both local multiplayer and a unique spin on online multiplayer.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder launches exclusively for Nintendo Switch on October 20th.

While she was first shown off during EVO 2023, we now have official gameplay footage of the next character coming to Street Fighter 6! As the second DLC character, A.K.I centralizes around poisoning her opponent using a mix of specific attacks, traps, and projectiles. If you’d like to try out the character for free, you can use a Rental Fighter ticket within the game to get an hour of playtime with her to see if you like their playstyle.

If you’ve been looking forward to the HD remasters of Suikoden 1 & 2, you’ll sadly have to wait a bit longer. Konami announced via Twitter that the collection will be delayed to an unspecified date, but at least we know it won’t be released in 2023.

Suikoden I & II HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Anime News:

Despite us being extremely close to the release of four brand new episodes of Naruto, it was announced that the episodes are being delayed. These episodes were being created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Naruto anime adaptation and were set to premiere on September 3rd, but they have now been pushed back to an undetermined date in order to increase their quality.

Upcoming Releases:

Five years after it was first announced, Bethesda Games Studios’ brand-new franchise is finally ready to launch this week! Starfield is an action RPG set in the vast expanses of space, allowing you to explore planets, fight on both the ground and in your own customizable spaceship, and has a deep storyline to be engrossed by.

Starfield releases for Xbox Series X and PC on September 6th.
