This week, our weekly news round up with be limited to visual novel news. We expect it to include the normal highlights for visual novels, gaming, anime, and upcoming releases next week.
Visual Novel News:
kawaiinium have announced the upcoming release of Ren’ai 0 Kilometer, one of ASaProject’s earlier titles which was originally released in October 2011. This will be released on November 20th, 2025. It’s been shared that the Steam version will feature HD optimization and multilingual support (Japanese / English / Traditional Chinese / Simplified Chinese).
While available for the Tayutama titles (kawainium’s only other releases) and kawaiinium describe their company as providing “official patch support”, at the moment there is no news about whether a R18 patch will be released for Ren’ai 0 Kilometer. The Steam version alone has been described as all ages, with some changes made to the story under the supervision of ASaProject.
The Yazaki family (four brothers raised by their father) and the Kinomoto family (five sisters raised by their mother) live next door to each other. Each family secretly wishes for the child they never had—one wants a girl, the other a boy. One day, the parents make a radical proposal: “Let’s swap one child for three months and see what happens!” And so, the second son of the Yazakis, Kyouichi, moves into the Kinomoto household, while the second daughter of the Kinomotos, Sakuya, goes to stay in the Yazaki house. The Kinomoto girls, unsure how to treat Kyouichi at first, gradually accept him into their lively home. It's a bit awkward to just start calling him “Onii-chan”, after all. Kyouichi, overwhelmed by the all-female environment, is simultaneously drawn to the unique warmth and the different dynamics of their familial chaos. But the 3-month deadline looms ever closer. Through their time together, Kyouichi, Sakuya, and both families begin to discover what family truly means. Will they return to life as it was—or choose a new future?
Shiravune have announced the upcoming release of the NUKITASHI 2 – Append DLC, which includes a short additional story for Susuko. This is a paid DLC which will be released on October 3rd, 2025. In addition, a new R18 content patch will be released for free that includes the Hinami Bonus Chapter, which will be selectable from the Scenarios menu.
As well as Steam, it’s planned to be released on other storefronts, but these may not share the same release date.
Shiravune and Co-Fun Games have also announced an upcoming release of Kokuhaku Confessional (Kokuhaku Game) by Haitokudo in English and Chinese on Steam. There is no release window at this time.

Idea Factory have announced that the original PlayStation Vita Japanese release of the otome visual novel, Homura: The Crimson Warriors will be launching on Nintendo Switch physically and digitally in 2026.
