Kagami Games has announced an upcoming release of Template!! An Angel’s Gift (Tenpure!!) by CIRCUS. This visual novel is set to be released in late April 2026 in Japanese, Chinese, and English. An 18-rated version will be available, with mosaic censorship.

In another announcement by Kagami Games, they plan to release Karigurashi Ren’ai: Living on Borrowed Love by ASa Project on March 26th, 2026.
The protagonist, Takuma Setoda, returns to the town where he grew up. He’s come back to break away from his dependence on his parents and start living on his own. The town is filled with memories from his childhood. Takuma had always longed to return one day. Finally, he successfully convinced his parents, fulfilling his dream of returning to his hometown (and living alone)! However, when he arrives at the rundown old house where he used to live, ready to start his new life, he discovers that the home from his memories has become so decrepit that it’s completely uninhabitable—a total ruin! He needs to find a temporary place to stay to continue his studies… but there’s one problem: he’s flat broke. With nowhere to turn, Takuma is at a dead end. Just then, a helping hand is extended by none other than his old childhood friends!! It can’t be a long-term solution, but it seems their families are willing to let him stay with each of them for a short while, rotating between their homes. Although one of his friends makes her disgust clear and strongly objects, Takuma somehow manages to persuade her. And so begins a strange, bizarre, and unconventional “boarding life.

Last week marked the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise and The Pokémon Company hosted a presentation to celebrate the occasion. While it was mainly small updates to many of their other projects, it ended with a huge reveal. The next mainline entry in the franchise was fully revealed and is titled Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves. We’re off to a new nation that looks very tropical in nature and we were also given our first look at the three new starter Pokémon: Browt, Pombon, and Gecqua.

Despite us not getting a new trailer at the recent State of Play, Insomniac have revealed the full release date for their latest upcoming video game. Marvel’s Wolverine will be releasing exclusively for PlayStation 5 on September 15th.
The action RPG spinoff in the Disgaea series has been confirmed for an international release. Disgaea Mayhem sees you playing as N.A as you attempt to please Princess Tichelle by getting her flan in the hopes of getting paid. Despite the action focus, similar mechanics to the main game like the Item World and reincarnation are available here to make you get stronger. Each weapon you use has seven different classes to utilize a different way to play. A limited edition of Disgaea Mayhem is now available for pre-order and includes an artbook, soundtrack, an acrylic stand, and a keychain.
Disgaea Mayhem will be released for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC this Summer.

A new big-budget gacha game has finally been given its full worldwide release date. Neverness to Everness is set in the city of Hethereau as you play as an unlicensed Anomaly Hunter. Solve paranormal threats and create a party of colorful characters as you run and drive across the city in the hopes of rising up the ranks in society. Pre-registration for Neverness to Everness is now live where certain milestones can reward the community with in-game items.
Neverness to Everness launches for PlayStation 5, PC, iOS, and Android on April 29th.
Inti Creates are releasing a collection of their spinoff titles in the Azure Striker Gunvolt franchise. Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminos Avenger iX 1+2 Dual Collection combines Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminos Avenger iX and Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminos Avenger iX 2 into one package. These games put you in the shoes of the series’ secondary protagonist, Copen, with both these titles including an Endless Mode unique to this collection.

Anime News:
To celebrate the franchise’s 30th anniversary, we got the announcement that a new Evangelion anime series is in the works. The new series is being produced by Studio Khara and CloverWorks and will be directed by Kazuya Tsurumaki, who previously directed the Rebuild films in the franchise. The script is being done by Yoko Taro, who is most well known for creating the NieR and Drakenguard franchises, with the composer of the NieR titles, Keiichi Okabe working on the music.
No release window for the new Evangelion anime has been announced at this time.

The latest movie in the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime series is getting a worldwide release. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Azure Sea is coming to many different countries, including the US. If you missed out on watching the previous movie, don’t worry. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Scarlet Bond is getting re-released in theaters on April 20th in the US and Canada.

Scott Pilgrim is back with an all-new game that’s releasing this week. Scott Pilgrim EX is a return to the beat-’em-up gameplay from the first game, with this new game taking place after the events of the anime series, Scott Pilgrim Takes Off. The game is being developed by Tribute Games who’ve previously worked on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, with Scott Pilgrim‘s creator, Bryan Lee O’Malley penning the story for the game.

A new Pokémon game is launching this week, but it might not be what you expect. Pokémon Pokopia sees you playing as a Ditto that mimics the form of a human as you try to rebuild the town that was left abandoned by humans. You’ll be able to craft new items and mimic the techniques of other Pokémon to greater develop the land into something unique to you.
Pokémon Pokopia releases exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2 on March 5th.
