Sister Position has announced the release date of A Sex-obsessed Older Brother in the Country, and his Traditional, Sickly Little Sister (also known as Country Siblings or Ecchi de Ichizu na Doinaka Nii-sama to, Koshikiyukashii Byoujaku Imouto). It will be released on April 1st, 2025. At this time, only a release on DLSite has been announced. Different language options have different store pages, so please ensure you use the correct one. This is from the same director as Onii♥Kiss: Onii-chan, Where’s My Kiss? While it is being self-published, it has been confirmed that they have hired a translator, unlike the developer’s previous title Desperate Virgin Brother & Rebellious Little Sister which was translated by DLSite’s AI service.

Gaming News:
Out of nowhere, Nintendo announced they’d be hosting a Nintendo Direct a week before the planned event for the Nintendo Switch 2. This presentation focused on games coming to the original Nintendo Switch, so let’s get into it:
The Direct started with a trailer for the remakes of a classic RPG franchise! Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake uses Square-Enix’s HD-2D system to combine sprites with 3D environments, which was previously seen with last year’s remake of Dragon Quest III. We got our first look at gameplay of these legendary games in this new package, with them even teasing a new character at the end of the trailer.

It’s been three years, and Spike Chunsoft is ready to announce a new game in the AI Somnium Files series! No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: The Somnium Files sees you once again taking on the role of Kaname Date with his eyeball assistant, Aiba. This new case sees you trying to rescue an internet idol named Iris as she’s forced into a strange and deadly escape game.

Konami is releasing a package of classic games in one of the most famous shoot-’em-ups in gaming! Gradius Origins includes six different games with new features like rewinding and creating save states. Not only that, but an all-new game is also included in the package: Salamander III!

Those of you who had a PlayStation Portable back in the day, you might recognize this next game! Patapon 1+2 Replay combines the two classic PSP games in a new package, with the rhythm-based command system returning. This new release includes new support features, such as adjusting the timing of button presses and the option to list all the commands at the bottom of the screen.

Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar expands the original game with all-new visuals, voice acting, and more as you explore Zephyr Town in the hopes of making a new life for yourself selling your goods at the bazaar.

After its initial announcement, fans of Metroid have been waiting for more details on Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, and Nintendo delivered in this new Direct! This new game sees Samus Aran arrive on a Planet Viewros where she gains mysterious psychic powers. Use these new abilities, scan the environment to learn more about the planet, and of course, blast hordes of enemies with Samus’ iconic arm cannon.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A got more information beyond its initial gameplay reveal earlier this year! While we already knew you could explore wild zones to find new Pokémon, this new showcase revealed that when night falls, you can enter battle zones to go against other trainers in the hopes of rising the ranks to hopefully get to the prestigious A rank.

It’s hard to believe it’s been almost a decade since the last Rhythm Heaven game, but Nintendo has finally decided to announce a new entry in the franchise! Rhythm Heaven Groove retains the quirky tone of the franchise with new mini-games all based around rhythm with new tracks composed by Tsunku.

A remaster of a classic Square-Enix RPG was announced at the Direct! SaGa Frontier 2 Remastered has you enter the world of Sandail and tells the stories of Gustave and Wil and allows you to see the story from multiple perspectives. The original gameplay has been enhanced for this new release, along with upgrading the visuals and UI to be better suited for HD displays. And last but not least, they announced that the game is now available to purchase!
SaGa Frontier 2 Remastered is now available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS, and Android.

A classic golf game is getting an all-new installment later this year! Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots brings back the tried-and-tested gameplay where you time button presses to precisely control how your shot will go. To close out the Direct, Nintendo revealed a new entry in an odd yet charming franchise that fans have grown to love! Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is a sequel to the original Nintendo 3DS game, which was released back in 2013. This franchise lets you create tons of Miis that then travel to an island to live out their daily lives, but it won’t take long before something bizarre ends up happening, such as imagining someone as a giant within a dream.

A new playable character was announced for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, but it’s one you likely would never have expected! Famous football star Cristiano Ronaldo is joining the game’s roster and combines both martial arts and football tricks to make a wholly original character.

Based on the manga series by Fairy Tail creator Hiro Mashima comes a game based on one of his other series! EDENS ZERO is a new action RPG from Konami that retells the events of the anime adaptation. Take on the role of multiple characters as you travel to distant planets to solve various issues that arise. The game also boasts a customisation system to change the stats and even appearance of your characters.

Even though Trails Through Daybreak was released last month, we’ve already got confirmation that the next game in the franchise is already coming! The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon puts you back in the shoes of Van Arkride as he and his comrades partake in a high-tech training exercise that could lead to new discoveries in the land of Zemurian.

It’s clear that video game movies are the hot new trend in Hollywood, and it looks like we’re getting another adaptation based on a beloved franchise! In a collaboration with Sony, Nintendo is officially creating a live-action Legend of Zelda movie and has announced that the film will premiere on March 26th, 2027. The film is being directed by Wes Ball, who is most well known for directing The Maze Runner movies, with Avi Arad and Zelda creator Shigeru Miyamoto serving as producers.
Anime News:
Season 3 of Re:Zero may be over, but we already have confirmation that the story will continue! After the final episode of season 3, we got news that a fourth season is now in the works, with us getting a teaser to announce the project. No release window was announced at this time.

Upon the conclusion of the first season, the story of Taiki and Chinatsu won’t be ending anytime soon! A second season of Blue Box has been confirmed via a short teaser, with one of the show’s character designers creating a new illustration for the announcement. Aside from that, no release window for the new season was revealed.
