Renai X Royale – Love’s a Battle – Walkthrough & Guide

Renai X Royale – Love’s a Battle is relatively straightforward, but it’s certainly possible to go the wrong way or to miss a certain achievement. This guide will tell you which choices to make. As a warning, some spoilers can be inferred from the choices.

There are four main routes in Renai X Royale – Love’s a Battle. Outside of that, there’s a fairly long sub-heroine route, two short sub-heroine routes, a ‘bromance’ end, and a bad end. Steam achievements exist for starting the game, starting each of the main heroine routes, starting Yuna’s route, and all endings. These routes can be done in any order.

No choices matter before the winter event (pictured above). Here it breaks into two branches, with Shione and Mari on the ‘Leave it to Shion-san’ branch and everyone else on the ‘Look for Renna-chan’ branch.

Mari

– Leave it to Shion-san

– Don’t

– Still don’t ask

Shione (and Ao Bad End)

– Leave it to Shion-san

– Ask Ao for help

This is the simplest way to get onto Shione’s route. If instead, you choose “Don’t”, then it’ll prompt you again with “Ask Ao for help, for real this time”. This will also get you on her route.

Later in Shione’s Route, you’re given a choice. I’d suggest saving at this choice if playing on Steam, choosing the bad end for the achievement, and then loading.

– Fine, you may give him a try, Ao (Continue Shione route).

– No way! He’s mine! All Mine! Harrumph! (Bad end)

Renna

– Look for Renna-chan

– I like you and your persistence

Yuna

– Look for Renna-chan

– I want you to stay as my cute kohai

– I’ll dedicate everything to you, Yuna-chan

Nonoka

– Look for Renna-chan

– I want you to stay as my cute kohai

– …I see

– A little sister’s fine too, I guess

Ikuyo

– Look for Renna-chan

– I want you to stay as my cute kohai

– …I see

– But from a moral standpoint

– Accept the chairman’s offer

‘Chiya’

– Look for Renna-chan

– I want you to stay as my cute kohai

– …I see

– But from a moral standpoint

– Wait for Yoshinori and Chiya

– Hang out with Chiya

Yoshinori

– Look for Renna-chan

– I want you to stay as my cute kohai

– …I see

– But from a moral standpoint

– Wait for Yoshinori and Chiya

– Yoshinori’s the one I want…!
