Shiravune have announced an upcoming localization of Another Way of Gettin’ Paid (Ochingin wa Karadabarai) by Pako Pako Soft. It will be coming to Steam and other platforms including JAST USA. A release date has not yet been announced.
Ever since his college days, Shunji Naruse has been working with the female president of a real estate company, Mizuru Kozuki. He works as her private secretary. One day, Shunji’s pleasant life gets even better when he befriends a girl, Chisato Hinata. Things grow even livelier when a divorced wife and one of Mizuru’s old classmates, Kasumi Tachibana; as well as Chisato’s friend, Hasumi Tachibana—get added to the mix. As his various acquaintances begin to interact in ways they were never supposed to, Shunji finds his social circle expanding farther than he could have ever imagined…
After an initial delay, Shiravune have announced that Destiny Star Girlfriend 2 and 3 will both be releasing on October 29th, 2024. They will be coming to Steam and other platforms including JAST USA.
Destiny Star Girlfriend 2 and 3 both see Seiji “tied by fate” again, with two magical girls, the mysterious and aloof Maja and and quiet Kanako in these rom-com visual novels.
While these are alternate takes on the story rather than sequels, it’s recommended to read the original visual novel first. Not read Destiny Star Girlfriend yet? Check out our review.
In a further announcement by Shiravune, Primal Hearts 2 by Marmalade will be coming to Steam. A release date has not yet been set at this time. Don’t want to wait? Primal Hearts and Primal Hearts 2 are already available on other storefronts, along with other titles by the same developer such as Marshmallow All the Way Home.
Schoolyard romance and campus politics are both cranked to 11 in this sequel, with feuding student counsels backing feuding extracurricular clubs in a battle for control of the school… and your heart!
Aniplex.exe has updated the Steam page to state that Seedsow Lullaby (Tanetsumi no Uta) will release on December 13th, 2024. A demo has also been made available.
The visual novel is being directed by Yow, who worked on titles such as If My Heart Had Wings, Ryuusei World Actor, and the Doukyuusei remake.

We’re now less than one month away before Mario and Luigi’s next big adventure arrives! Mario & Luigi: Brotherhood takes place in a land called Concordia and sees you traveling through the seas to solve the many troubles the various islands face. Nintendo has released a new trailer that goes into greater detail on the game’s story, location, and gameplay mechanics.

Nintendo recently announced a new piece of hardware, but it’s not something you might have suspected! Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo is an advanced alarm clock that features a multitude of the company’s IPs to help you wake up in the morning. As you wake up, the clock will play various sounds from the original games as you get up, which is done through body tracking through motion sensors. You can also see how much you’ve moved around as you sleep in the clock’s Record feature.
Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo will be released in early 2025, with Nintendo Switch Online members and the Nintendo New York store selling the product today.

At long last, the original Red Dead Redemption is coming to PC! Rockstar Games’ popular title set in the Wild West is getting the full treatment with 4K resolution support, Ultrawide/Super Ultrawide display functionality, and enhanced upscaled visuals.

Released back in June in Japan, the latest entry in the Neptunia franchise is coming to the West early next year! Neptunia Riders VS Dogoos‘ western release will also be available in what’s called a Magazine Edition, which includes bonuses such as costume DLC, an art book, a set of posters, and more. There will also be a standard physical edition.
Neptunia Riders VS Dogoos releases for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on January 28th, 2025.
Anime News:
The ending of the seventh season of My Hero Academia brought with it the announcement of an eighth season! However, this new season will be the final one, with the announcement being made with a short teaser and new key art for the final season.

On October 20th, it will be the 25th anniversary of the One Piece anime adaptation! To celebrate, Toei Animation is adapting The Straw Hat Stories novel into a 30-minute animated special titled One Piece Fan Letter. The story goes into the lives of regular people in the One Piece world and how the actions of the Straw Hat Pirates affected them. The special is being directed by Megumi Ishitani, who was the director of the famous episode 1015 of the anime and worked on the latest opening for the Egghead arc.
One Piece Fan Letter premieres on October 20th.
