One day, the three go on a school trip to Kyoto, when Rouko mysteriously disappears at Kuramadera temple. Yoshitsune and Shizuka head to Kuramadera to search for her, but when they reach the temple’s main hall, they lose consciousness.
When they open their eyes, they find themselves at the same Kuramadera, yet… something is different. Though in the same location, they are approximately 850 years in the past, in the Heian period.

Ise Saburou (c.v. Aji Sanma)

Arcana Alchemia
As part of their assistance in helping Kawaiinium co-publish titles such as Tayutama, Kagami Games will be localizing Lump of Sugar’s title Arcana Alchemia into English!
Alchemy—the great art of transforming one form of existence into another.
Ruri, the daughter of a long-established alchemy shop, is a firm believer in the now-obscure art. Together with her childhood friend and the story’s protagonist, Io, a junior named Kanon who has come to study alchemy, and Sara, a talented alchemist whose interests lie solely in her own research, Ruri sets out to create something incredible and restore the art of alchemy to its former glory.
However, during their efforts, they create something none of them ever expected—a Homunculus, a non-human girl with animal ears and a tail.
Fine (c.v. Satou Temari)
The Homunculus girl whom the protagonist and the others create entirely by accident. Quiet and easygoing by nature, she’s nonetheless wide-eyed and curious about everything around her, with a friendly, guileless charm that quickly wins people over.
Ruri P. Theophrastus (c.v. Amachi Haru)
The young, pint-sized proprietoress of a long-established alchemy shop. She laments how technology has pushed alchemy into decline and throws herself into reviving it, spreading the word day after day through outreach. She is the protagonist’s childhood friend, and often fusses over him like a doting big sister.
Harumo Kanon (c.v. Ayumi Sarah)
An earnest junior who came to study alchemy, Kanon takes everything seriously. Unfortunately, that very seriousness and her sensibleness tend to backfire, leaving her at the mercy of the group’s whims. Rare for the times, she pursues alchemy entirely of her own accord. Yet, she’s never once managed to pull off a successful transmutation.
Yanase Sara (c.v. Otomachi)
A first-rate alchemist whose interests begin and end with her own research. She is always calm, composed, and mature beyond her years, yet she also has a playful, mischievous side. Once she takes a liking to someone, she will happily tease them just for the fun of it.
Harumo Monika (c.v. Akesato Mei)
She gets around in a wheelchair for a certain reason, but she’s so bright and carefree that you’d all but forget it. And in stark contrast to her sister, she’s grown rather generously in all the right places.
Sakura, Moyu -as the Night’s Reincarnation-
FAVORITE’s highly regarded Sakura, Moyu -as the Night’s Reincarnation- is being brought to English audiences! Since Kagami Games is assisting Syawase Works in their promotion of the Chinese edition, they decided to announce that the English version is in the works as well. Localization is in the early stages.

Andou Chiwa (c.v. Nekomura Yuki)
A former magical girl. Taiga’s childhood friend who attends the same school as him, though in a lower grade. The two have a hot-and-cold relationship, though deep down, she’s always loved him.
Kuro (c.v. Kanako)
A black cat who has been with Taiga since childhood. She’s highly attached to Taiga and is deeply afraid of strangers. For unknown reasons, her hair turned white when she took on a human form.
