VisualArts has launched Key’s 15th anniversary title, Harmonia Full HD Edition on Steam. This version includes full voice and full HD resolution. The original Harmonia is still available to purchase at a lower price than the new HD edition. If you already own the original, a discount is available through buying the bundle.
This is a story of the distant future. An immense war left the world broken and torn. Ashes covered the sky, the land was stripped of vegetation, and water dried up. As a result, the human population drastically decreased. The remaining humans huddled together to survive. During this time, an emotions-capable robot known as a Phiroid woke up in a decayed factory. Prior to the war, science created these human-like robots capable of feeling emotion. As new partners for the humans, the Phiroids promised better lives for all of humanity. However, upon waking, this Phiroid soon realized that its emotions were not functioning. Its right hand lacked artificial skin and the mechanical parts showed how its production likely went unfinished. This young male Phiroid had an innate desire to be with humans. And so it began a journey to obtain its lost emotions, and wandered across this devastated world. One day, the Phiroid was discovered by a young girl. Thinking he was a human, she began to look after him. She brought him to a small, but pleasant town. While living with the young girl, the Phiroid slowly learned about emotions.
Sekai Project have announced that QUALIA ~The Path of Promise~ is coming to the Nintendo Switch on 10th May, 2024. It is already available on PC via Steam.
“Machina” is the world’s first android to pass the Turing Test. She’s attracted worldwide attention for her human-like qualities though there’s still some part of her that is not fully complete which shows that she still has room to grow. Incidentally, she is also dressed like a maid. At the suggestion of his colleague, Dr. Hiro Koshino ends up taking Machina home and has her work as a maid. As Machina continues to learn and grow through her interactions with Hiro, he also begins to develop certain feelings towards her… An android heroine and the genius hermit. This is a story of pure love where the two learn to grow together, overcome fate and find happiness.

ATLUS has been on a roll with some fantastic games this year, and they’re planning to release another one in the latter half of 2024! Metaphor: ReFantazio got a brand-new trailer and we got to see even more of this highly anticipated RPG from the minds of the Persona series. At the end of the trailer, we finally got the release date for the game.
Metaphor: ReFantazio releases for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, and PC on October 11th.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is getting its first console video game this year! That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Chronicles is a 2.5D action RPG with many of the characters from the original series. Alongside intense action sequences, you’ll also be able to build up your town to strengthen your allies. The game will be covering the original story from the series, but will also include additional stories supervised by the series creator, Fuse.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Chronicles launches for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on August 8th.

The Hunter X Hunter franchise is getting a brand-new console game from an acclaimed developer! Hunter X Hunter: Nen X Impact is a 2.5D fighting game from 8ing that brings together the memorable characters from the series for some good old-fashioned fisticuffs. Announced earlier this year, we’ve gotten our first look at how the game will play in a brand-new trailer. It’s a 3v3 game with you being able to bring in your allies for assists, much like 8ing’s other fighting game Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
Hunter X Hunter: Nen X Impact releases for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC. No release window was announced at this time.

The Neptunia franchise has had a rather strange release schedule when porting their titles to the Nintendo Switch. They originally ported Megadimension Neptunia VII, which was the fourth mainline entry in the series, making fans wonder when the prior three entries would be ported too. Thankfully, we’ve got our answer as the entire Re;Birth trilogy will be coming to the platform very soon!
