Visual Novel News:
JAST USA have released the final chapter in the highly-rated FLOWERS series. This yuri visual novel has you join Suoh as she finally closes in on the secret behind Mayuri’s disappearance!
Another yuri title, Good Luck Baby has been launched on Kickstarter by Noodletub Games, the creators of Love Bakudan. While the set goal is very low compared to most, it has already reached it and met several of the stretch goals.
Noodletub Games describe Good Luck Baby as a ‘kinetic yuri visual novel about true love, found family, and happiness blooming in unexpected circumstances’.
Hanako Games has announced that they are working on a sequel to Long Live the Queen, the popular visual novel/management game where most paths lead to death.
While in early stages, we currently know that the working title is Long Live The Queen: Galaxy Princess Zorana. It’s set far in the future, placing you in a similar situation as the original. It states that ‘You are the pampered daughter of a mighty emperor (think Flash Gordon and Ming the Merciless) who unexpectedly comes to power when your father dies in a freak accident. Now you must work to win over your father’s underlings and be proclaimed absolute ruler before someone else can take your Empire away from you’.
The console port of Long Live the Queen is expected this year. At the time of writing, the game is currently 70% off on Steam but this ends today. It’s a personal favorite of one of our writers, so check it out.

The Japanese classic Astro Boy is finally returning to television with a new series called Astro Boy Reboot! This is a collaborative project between Shibuya Productions and Method Animation for this 3D animated series, which aims to produce 52 episodes. This new Astro Boy series has been in the works for quite a few years, so fans can breathe a sigh of relief that it’s still being worked on, although we still don’t have a release window as of now.
