Shiravune have announced the upcoming release of Destiny Star Girlfriend 3. It will be coming to Steam, Johren, and other stores including JAST USA in Q3 2024. The exact release date has not been announced at this time, and the previously stated release window of Destiny Star Girlfriend 2 has now been changed on Steam from Q2 2024 to Q3 2024.
In the final(?) route of this award-winning VN series, Seiji survives an attempt on his life by Kanoko, aka secret magical girl no. 3. The leads all point to a childhood tragedy and a certain deep-space Majin, so why him? And will Kanoko leave the dark side to save Seiji—and mankind—from herself?
NEKO-NIN exHeart SPIN! has had the release date revealed. Sekai Project have announced that it will be released on the 15th July, 2024. The release will be coming to Steam and Denpasoft.

After the massive successes of Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail, all eyes have been on Hoyoverse’s next big game: Zenless Zone Zero! After numerous closed beta tests and making changes based on feedback, the game is finally ready for its global launch this week! The announcement was made through a video presentation covering the game’s lore, characters, mechanics, and more. The game is free-to-play and you’ll be able to earn up to 100 free pulls through in-game rewards to celebrate the game’s launch.
Zenless Zone Zero releases for PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile on July 4th.

Despite us getting a pretty big update on Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero recently, we just got a new trailer to unveil more characters being added to the gigantic roster! Highlights from the trailer include characters like Yajirobe, Anilaza, Super Saiyan Rosé Goku Black, and Ultra Instinct -Sign- Goku.

Anime News:
One of the biggest manga and anime properties to release in the last decade is ending very soon! Kohei Horikoshi’s superhero manga series, My Hero Academia is coming to an end, with the final chapter set to be published on August 5th. The anime adaptation is currently in its seventh season, so we’ll just have to wait and see if the eighth season will be the last for the series.
The fourth season of Demon Slayer recently came to an end, but it came with a huge announcement. The final arc of the series, the Infinity Castle arc, is being adapted into a film trilogy! This isn’t exclusive to Japan either, as Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment have announced that the films will get a worldwide release.
No release window for the Demon Slayer Infinity Castle film trilogy was announced at this time. It has been announced that these films will be coming exclusively to theaters.

With the conclusion of the Urusei Yatsura remake anime, it won’t be the only franchise from Rumiko Takahashi to get a remake! The romantic comedy classic, Ranma 1/2 is getting an anime remake, with the announcement being done via a short teaser video. We can expect more details to emerge on July 17th.

We sadly lost a Japanese voice actor this past week, as Taiki Matsuno passed away on June 26th due to a brain hemorrhage at the age of 56. He was known for being the Japanese voice actor for Spongebob Squarepants, but he also performed the roles of Pegasus in Sailor Moon SuperS, Koga in Inuyasha, Aguman from Digimon Savers, and more. Rest in peace, Taiki Matsuno.
