Kagami Games has announced that they’re bringing SMEE’s 15th anniversary title LOVEPICAL-POPPY! out in English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. The story follows a nameable protagonist who, due to circumstances, moves into a girls’ dormitory with his younger sister, taking on the role of a ‘dorm mother’. This will be Kagami Games’ second release in English.
It will be released via Steam on December 19th, 2025. While not confirmed at this time, their community manager also noted that they’re working to get it on other storefronts through their Discord server. They’ve also been teasing this title there for several days by releasing clues.
The Steam version will not contain adult content; however, a patch will be available to restore it. Kagami Games has confirmed that their release of this title will not contain mosaics.
A fandisc for this title (DOKA-ICHA!! LOVEPICAL-POPPY!) is also available in Japanese. It has not been announced for an international release at this time.

LOVEPICAL-POPPY! Story Summary
On one fateful day, my apartment burns down.
My younger sister, Yaotome Suzuka, secures a room in Hoshikuzu Academy’s dormitory. As for me, I’m left unemployed and homeless.
Just when things look bleak, an unexpected opportunity appears: a job as the live-in dorm mother of the very same all-girls dormitory where my sister is staying! Room, board, and pay—there’s no reason to refuse!
But there’s a catch: I have to work at the crepe café next door as well. It’ll be a lot of work, sure, but I’m not about to turn it down! Plus, I’ll be watching over a group of distinct girls as their dorm mother…
