Visual Novel News:
Prototype has announced that the Nintendo Switch version of AIR will now support English and Chinese language. The physical version which has been out of stock will be restocked. While the physical version will include the additional languages, it is Japan-exclusive, so if you live outside of Japan you will need to import it via a service such as ZenMarket or a store that ships internationally.
You can also buy AIR with English language support for PC on Steam.
Kawaiinium has announced an August 2025 release of Tayutama: It’s Happy Days, the fandisc of Tayutama: Kiss on My Deity, which we reviewed previously. As was the case with the Tayutama: Kiss on My Deity, Tayutama: It’s Happy Days” will be a HD remaster available in English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese. An official patch was also announced.

Yuri Kissaten has released Life of a Dispatch English Teacher in Japan for free on Steam. It’s a short approximately 6,000 words long visual novel based on the real-life experiences of English teachers throughout Japan.
In “Life of a Dispatch English Teacher in Japan,” you play as Maria Ramirez, an American working in Japan as an English teacher. It’s a rewarding, fun job, and you’re beloved by students and coworkers alike–until suddenly, one day you lose your job. You work for a dispatch English teaching company, and they lost their contract with your school, just one month before the end of the school year. Out of nowhere, you must change the course of your life. You have a loving girlfriend to support you and other friends facing this alongside you, but ultimately you must make an extremely tough choice about your future.
Gaming News:
After releasing a teaser trailer for the character, we now have a full gameplay trailer for the next DLC character coming to Street Fighter 6! Sagat, the classic Muay Thai fighter who debuted in the original Street Fighter is back and his playstyle is one fans of the franchise are very familiar with. He also brings with him a new stage: Proud Spire.
Sagat joins the roster in Street Fighter 6 on August 5th.

The first cast details for the upcoming Legend of Zelda live-action movie were officially revealed! In a post from Shigeru Miyamoto, he revealed that Bo Bragason will be playing the titular character of Zelda, while Benjamin Evan Ainsworth will be portraying Link.
The Legend of Zelda live-action movie is set to premiere on May 7th, 2027
Anime News:
Based on the influential manga by Shotaro Ishinomori, Cyborg 009 is getting a new anime adaptation! Titled Cyborg 009 Nemesis, not much is known about this new adaptation besides the title and a logo for the series. A release window for the series also wasn’t confirmed.

An updated port of the latest Mario Party game is arriving on Nintendo Switch 2 this week! Super Mario Party Jamboree: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV is an enhanced port of the original game, but will also be adding in new minigames and game modes, including one that makes use of the Nintendo Switch 2 camera accessory.
