TAISHO x ALICE: HEADS & TAILS has been announced as releasing on the 26th of July, 2022 – the day after this news post goes live.

While this otome visual novel can be played as a standalone title, it recommends that you play TAISHO x ALICE episode 1,2,3 and epilogue first. It contains seven afterstories with the original love interests and more including a school AU story.

While it’s been known for some time, we finally have a date when the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U eShops will close for good. In a statement from Nintendo, the online storefronts will formally close on March 27th 2023, meaning you will be unable to purchase any software from that date. However, you will still be able to re-download software you bought previously even after this date, and online functionality will remain functional for the foreseeable future.

Remember that asymmetrical multiplayer game from Bandai Namco that’s set in the world of Dragon Ball that was announced last year? The game has gone quiet for a while now, but we finally received more news on the title! Dragon Ball: The Breakers released a new trailer, formerly announcing that fan-favorite villain Frieza will be playable, alongside announcing the game’s release date.

Dragon Ball: The Breakers arrives for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on October 14th.

No More Heroes 3 has been on the Nintendo Switch for almost a year now, but Travis’ recent exploits are going multi-platform! The game will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC on October 11th both physically and digitally. A physical release with more bonuses is being released too: it includes the game for your chosen platform, an art book, a soundtrack on CD, and a commemorative license plate emblazed with the word “MOE~”.

It’s hard to believe, but Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat crew have been sailing the high seas in the pages of Shonen Jump for 25 years! A lot has been planned to celebrate One Piece‘s 25th anniversary, including the release of an official One Piece card game, the erection of a statue of Jinbe in Oda’s hometown of Kumamoto, and a brand new film, One Piece: Film Red, releasing this year! The last of these even got a brand new trailer ahead of its Japanese premiere on August 6th.

On the topic of Shonen Jump, another popular series is returning to television for its sixth season! My Hero Academia now has a premiere date for its latest season: October 1st! The announcement was made with the unveiling of a brand new key visual showcasing the many character we’ll be expecting to see in the new season.

While we received a short trailer for it earlier this year, we have a more throughout look at the Netflix animated series based on the Tekken franchise! A brand new trailer was revealed, along with the key visual that announces the premiere date and when it will be available for streaming: August 18th.

Upcoming Releases:

Announced back in 2020, Gunvolt is finally ready to make his big comeback in the next mainline entry in the Azure Striker Gunvolt series! In this IntiCreates platformer, play as both the familiar Gunvolt and a brand new character named Kirin, who uses a sword and talisman to attack. This game is also notable for being the first game in the series to receive an English dub.

Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 releases for Nintendo Switch on July 28th. An Xbox Series X and Xbox One version will release on August 2nd, and a PC version is set for this Winter.

After many, and I mean MANY delays, the highly anticipated Digimon Survive is finally releasing this week! Developed by Hyde, it meshes a visual novel style of storytelling with deep strategy elements in a beautiful handdrawn art style.

Digimon Survive arrives for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on July 29th.

RPG fans are going to have a busy week ahead of them, as another huge title is launching on the exact same day! Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is the next entry in Monolith Soft’s hugely popular franchise, giving players another gargantuan world to explore and a deep combat system to sink your teeth into.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 launches exclusively for Nintendo Switch on July 29th.
