The X-Change – Complete Collection has launched on JAST USA. It’s a remastered collection of all three games in the original X-Change trilogy, plus additional content from X-Change R, which is a remake of the first game with voiced lines and new artwork.
This is a collection of classic games where a male student gets repeatedly transformed into a girl due to an accident and other circumstances. Anyone who owns any of the original three games on JASTUSA will have had it added to their JAST library for free.

Harem Kingdom by Shiravune has launched on the Johren platform exclusively. It’s developed by SMEE, the same developed as the well-regarded titled Making*Lovers and Fureraba.
This falls into the popular ‘isekai’ genre, where someone is transported to an alternate world. Your nameable protagonist becomes the king of a country and finds that he will die if he does not have sex. It focuses heavily on comedy.

Sakura Swim Club has been out for some time on PC, but Gamuzumi have now brought this lewd title by Winged Cloud to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4/5.
It follows a transfer student who moves to a new school and meets two beautiful girls in the swim club.
Finally in indie visual novel news, Homunculus Hotel has released a demo of their upcoming visual novel.
It looks to be an introspective story, where every room has it’s own story.
Gaming News:
Nintendo hosted a new Nintendo Direct last Thursday and it came with a ton of brand new announcements! Here are the highlights:
Monster Hunter Rise is getting a new expansion, titled Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, which will be releasing in Summer 2022.
We’re getting a brand new Kirby game, but with a twist. Kirby and the Forgotten Land will be the first 3D Kirby platformer to be released and just in time for the series’ 30th anniversary. Kirby and the Forgotten Land will be launching in Spring 2022.
Both Super Smash Bros. and Animal Crossing series will be receiving exclusive Direct presentations later this year. The final DLC character joining the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster will be announced on October 5th, while Animal Crossing‘s presentation will be airing sometime in October.
The spiritual successor to Final Fantasy Tactics, Triangle Fantasy got its release date officially confirmed: March 4th, 2022.
Splatoon 3 got a brand new trailer with new features being showcased, along with a brief tease of the game’s single-player campaign. The game will be releasing in 2022.
Finally, to close out the Direct, the highly anticipated Bayonetta 3 got a full announcement trailer after an almost 4-year long wait since its initial announcement. It’ll be launching in 2022.

Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Raid recently ended its second season, but just before that happened, we got the announcement that the franchise will be receiving a brand new video game! Titled Sakuretsu!! Chorogon Breath, the game is being developed by Kaminari Games, who are best known for the popular shoot-’em-up franchise, RAIDEN.
Sakuretsu!! Chorogon Breath will be releasing for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Spring 2022.
After its successful launch earlier this Summer, NEO: The World Ends with You is finally getting ported to the PC, and very soon too!
NEO: The World Ends with You releases on the PC via the Epic Games Store on September 28th.
The popular hack-and-slash franchise with a love for the female anatomy, Senran Kagura recently celebrated its 10th anniversary! To celebrate, Marvelous and Honey∞Parade Games released a promotional video highlighting the many games the franchise has currently received. While the last game in the series to be released as of today was 2018’s Senran Kagura: Peach Ball, the franchisee will be collaborating with the HyperDimension Neptunia series in a new title that’ll be launching very soon.
Neptunia X Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars launches exclusively on the PlayStation 4 on October 26th.
Anime News:
After the massive success of the recent film, fans of Demon Slayer will be overjoyed to hear that the long-awaited second season will finally begin airing this October! The season will start with an episodic adaptation of the Demon Slayer: Mugen Train film on October 10th, with the next arc, the Entertainment District Arc beginning on December 5th.
When another shonen anime season begins, another one ends. My Hero Academia recently concluded its fifth season, but the animated adaptation of the series is far from being finished. A sixth season of the series has been confirmed to be in production. No release window was announced, but we got a teaser trailer announcing the continuation.

Another popular anime series also ended its most recent season, but also came with an exciting announcement too! That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is getting a theatrical film that is set to premiere in Fall 2022. The announcement also gave us a first look in the form of a teaser visual.
It was announced that anime film director Eiichi Yamamoto passed away on September 7th due to heart failure. He was one of the founding members of the animation studio started by the Father of Manga, Osamu Tezuka. His work included many famous properties at the studio, including a few episodes of Astro Boy, Kimba the White Lion‘s TV series and film, and the Cleopatra film. Outside of the Tezuka studio, he worked on screenplays for Space Battle Yamato and directed the cult-classic film, Belladonna of Sadness (pictured below.) Rest in peace, Eiichi Yamamoto.
Upcoming Releases:
Type-Moon and French-Bread’s 2D fighting game franchise is making a comeback after a decade of silence! Melty Blood: Type Lumina will serve as a reboot for the series, making it the best option for new players to get introduced to this cult-classic fighting game series.
Melty Blood: Type Lumina launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on September 30th.
