NUKITASHI – Walkthrough & Guide

Nukitashi takes you through a common route with only two possible points where you select a choice if you have the full 18+ version. One route is locked behind completion of other routes.

This guide will tell you which choices to make to access the four routes, the recommended order, and explains the situation regarding the adult patch.

The Steam version of Nukitashi does not include Steam Achievements, which is standard for Shiravune visual novels.

18+ Content

If you have purchased the Steam version of Nukitashi, you can download the free 18+ DLC via Johren. You will need to register an account first. Then download the patch, unzip the files, and copy them into Nukitashi’s install folder.

Either playing the Johren version or the Steam version with this patch is required to access any of the routes. The Steam version without the patch only includes a tiny amount of the game and cuts off abruptly.

Completing the Nanase and Hinami routes unlock additional post-story adult scenes found in the Scenario menu. These are 02 24 (Nanase and Touka) and 03 27 (Hinami and Rei). There are no additional scenarios unlocked for Misaki or Fumino.

While 18+ content is included, mosaic censorship remains in place.

Route Order

Three routes can be accessed immediately. These are the routes for Nanase, Hinami, and Misaki. They can be played in any order, but I recommend Misaki > Hinami > Nanase to due to certain plot points revealed in each route working well that way. This is not a particularly strong recommendation and some players will prefer Nanase first to have more of a grounding in the backstory.

After completing each of these, the title screen will change and the option to unlock Fumino’s route will be unlocked.

If you are playing the Steam version without the 18+ patch, there will be no choices and you will be unable to access any routes.

Bug Warning: While we have not experienced this ourselves, several users have reported choosing one route and ending up on another, most often reporting the choice this happens on to be Nanase, then starting the Hinami or Misaki route. Restarting, skipping to the choice, and selecting the desired choice again seems to have worked in most cases. You can check your progression in routes via the Scenario option on the title menu. We can confirm that there is no enforced order for the first three heroines and have tested each option with new installs.

Nanase Route

Choose:

• Nanase Katagiri
• Can’t… keep… going… (this option only appears after completing the routes for Nanase, Hinami, and Misaki and is otherwise unnecessary)

Hinami Route

Choose:

• Hinami Watarai
• Can’t… keep… going… (this option only appears after completing the routes for Nanase, Hinami, and Misaki and is otherwise unnecessary)

Misaki Route

Choose:

• Misaki Hotori
• Can’t… keep… going… (this option only appears after completing the routes for Nanase, Hinami, and Misaki and is otherwise unnecessary)

Fumino Route

Start a new game after the title screen changes.

Then choose:

• Nanase Katagiri / Hinami Watarai / Misaki Hotori (choose any)
• It can’t end now… not yet (this option only appears after completing the routes for Nanase, Hinami, and Misaki)
