Ready or Not – The Deadline is Coming! (Uchi wa Mou, Enki Dekinai) includes a common route, which leads to a total of five heroine routes and a bad ending. One route is locked. This guide will inform you of the choices to access the various routes in this visual novel and explain the situation regarding the R18 patch.
Adult Content
If you have purchased the Steam version of Ready or Not – The Deadline is Coming!, you can download the 18+ DLC via the NekoNyan Patch website.
To install the adult patch, download the patch, open the archive file with software such as 7Zip, and extract all the files into a folder. Then run install.exe (after installing the visual novel itself via Steam). It will give a clear indication that the patch is installed. It will also include R18 after the version number on the title screen.
If this fails, you can instead manually copy the contents of the archives folder (adult.xp3, config.json, data.xp3, parts.xp3, and patch.xp3) into the install folder.
Alternatively, you can buy the uncensored version of Ready or Not – The Deadline is Coming! on websites that support adult content, such as the JAST store.
Steam Achievements
The Steam version of Ready or Not – The Deadline is Coming! has a number of achievements to unlock. You can unlock these through completing all of the routes and endings. Please note that this includes the Bad Ending.
Route Order and Structure
Ready or Not – The Deadline is Coming! gives you seven choices throughout the common route. Most but not all of these choices have a heroine’s icon on them, indicating which heroine they will help you progress towards the route of. However, one important choice does not have an icon, and it can lead to the bad end if you choose incorrectly.
One heroine’s route is locked behind completing all the other heroine routes.
Please note that you can use ‘Next Choice’ to progress through subsequent playthroughs quickly.
Miku Miyamura Route
Choose:
- Chase after Miku immediately
- Defer to Miku
- Refuse, saying I’m full
- I shouldn’t let my imagination run wild…
- Try to settle this fairly
- Talk to Miku
- Visit the contractor’s home
Karin Miyamura Route
Choose:
- Have a word with Karin-san
- No comment…
- Let Karin-san feed me
- I wouldn’t mind seeing Karin-san in cosplay
- Try to settle this fairly
- Talk to Takuto-san
- Visit the contractor’s home
Chisa Suzumoto Route
Choose:
- Let Saya-nee know I’m going
- Yes, it’s really sexy!
- Refuse, saying I’m full
- I think Chisa-san would look good in cosplay
- Swap places with Miku
- Talk to Takuto-san
- Visit the contractor’s home
Ai Sakakibara Route
Choose:
- Let Saya-nee know I’m going
- No comment…
- Eat two servings of cake to cover for Ai-san
- I shouldn’t let my imagination run wild…

Sayaka Shiiba Route
First, complete all other heroine routes.
