My Klutzy Cupid (Ore no Cupid ga Ponkotsu Sugite Kowa~i) takes you through a short common route with several choice points. One route is locked behind completion of another route.
This guide will tell you which choices to make to access the six routes and additional ending, and explains the situation regarding the adult patch.
If you’ve not yet purchased this game, you may wish to first check out our review.
18+ Content
If you have purchased the Steam version of My Klutzy Cupid, you can download the free 18+ DLC via the NekoNyan website. Download the patch, unzip the file (adult.xp3), and copy it into My Klutzy Cupid’s install folder.
There is no mosaic censorship with the patch and no routes removed without it in the Steam version.
Steam Achievements
There are achievements for starting the game, starting each route, and completing each route, the extra ending, and a final one for getting all other achievements.
There was a known issue with the final achievement / Uta’s achievements at launch. We have been informed that this is now fixed, but had to uninstall, remove the patch, reinstall, and play up to the start of Uta’s route to get it. If you started Uta’s route before the fix or otherwise have issues, this may be a workaround to trigger it.
Route Order
My suggested route order is Kururu > Masora Ending > Rinka > Isuzu > Eil > Uta > Kotohina.
With that said, the strongest part of the suggestion is to do Eil and Kotohina near the end of the order and many would suggest to do them last. A big spoiler for Eil’s route is dropped at the end of Uta’s route, which is why I’ve placed her after Eil. The Kururu, Masora, Rinka, and Isuzu order isn’t too important, but Kururu’s is less connected to the premise of Eil and the Love Note than others.
CGs
Completing all routes and the additional ending will unlock all CGs. There are no hidden ones.
Opening
Any choices are acceptable for the following:
- Throw it away / Leave it by the side of the road
- About angels of love / About the Love Note / Where do you live? / Do you use RyME? / Why did you choose me? (You can ask all of these in any order)
- I have nothing left to ask
Save at the following choice when presented with pictures of five characters (Eil/Isuzu/Karin/Uta/Masora).
As a note, by default the options were set to skip unread text when skipping, so you may wish to amend this if loading and skipping to enter other routes to ensure that you do not miss unread text.
