Chorus Worldwide has announced that they will be delaying Coffee Talk Tokyo from the original launch date of March 5th, 2026. It will now launch on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch on May 21st, 2026, with the stated goal to use that extra time to finish the last bit of content and add some further polish. They’ve promised no further delays beyond this.

LocaGames has announced the international release of Volontés. The Dark Fantasy x Suspense Otome game will launch on March 26th, 2026 on Nintendo Switch, both digitally and physically. Idea Factory have announced the launch date of otome visual novel, Homura: The Crimson Warriors. It will be launching on Nintendo Switch digitally on March 31, 2026 and physically on April 28, 2026.

Resident Evil Requiem got a update from Capcom in the form of a showcase video. A large portion of the video explained the two different styles of gameplay across both playable characters. Grace is forced to move carefully through her environment while making the most out of her limited resources, including being able to craft items from infected blood and a limited use, but extremely powerful gun called the Requiem. Leon is all about gunplay and hand-to-hand combat as you’re able to parry enemy attacks and even use their own weapons against them. The game also has four difficulty modes to choose from, with some requiring you to use the classic ink ribbons to save your progress while playing as Grace.
Resident Evil Requiem launches for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC on February 27th.

To celebrate 10 million sales of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, Bandai Namco announced that the second half of the Dragon Ball Daima DLC pack would be available much sooner than we thought. Covering the second half of the original anime series, you’ll now be able to explore the Second and First layers of the Demon Realm in the hopes of thwarting the evil plans of Demon King Gomah.

Despite a late January release date being set, Netmarble announced a sudden delay for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin. This delay was decided because the team wanted to improve the game’s controls, combat system, and user interface. The game is now set to release sometime in March 2026.
The second season pass for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves has been fully revealed. Starting on January 22nd, we’ll be getting one new character every six months. The new characters coming to the game are Kim Jae Hoon, Nightmare Geese, Blue Mary, Wolfgang Krauser, and two mystery characters.

The fifth and final character in Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising‘s second season pass was fully announced. Ilsa got a full trailer showcasing her gameplay and personality, with her release also coming with a new update for the game.

After the huge success of Umamusume: Pretty Derby‘s worldwide release last year, we’re getting the franchise’s first movie in US theaters. Umamusume: Pretty Derby – Beginning of a New Era was originally released in Japan in 2024 and produced by CygamesPictures. It tells the story of four different racers as they aim to take on Triple Crown series; a set of three races that you can only attempt once in your lifetime.

We’re just under two months away from One Piece‘s return to live-action. Netflix released a new trailer that showcased the many members of Baroque Works; the agents of a criminal group that the Straw Hat Pirates will be facing upon entering the Grand Line.
One Piece‘s second live-action season will be available exclusively for Netflix on March 10th.

One of the most popular isekai anime series celebrates a big milestone this year. Konosuba is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2026 and we got some big announcements to commemorate the event. First up is confirmation of a fourth season of the anime now being in the works, with more details to be revealed at a later date. We also got the announcement of a new video game titled Konosuba – God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! Prosperity of this Beloved City! which will be released for PC, iOS, and Android in 2026 in Japan.

A new huge gacha game is releasing this week and it’s one tied to an already successful franchise. Arknights: Endfield evolves the franchise into a 3D action RPG set on the planet of Talos-II.
