Nanaboshi Kanata is a student traumatized by love whose world gets turned upside down when two girls vying for the Galactic Presidency declare that he will fall in love with them. Aliens, UFOs and even a guidebook for love? Nothing is normal and everything is weird in this comedic visual novel.

Sekai Project has just released Love Duction! The Guide for Galatic Lovers on Denpasoft and Steam. Early reviews have been positive. If purchasing on Denpasoft, the full game is included. The Steam version is censored, but a free R18 patch is available.

Gaming News:

Nintendo recently hosted a new Direct presentation, this time focusing on Animal Crossing. The main focus was the new features being added to Animal Crossing New Horizons, which include Brewster’s cafe returning, an island tour with Kapp’n, and a bunch of quality of life improvements. On top of that, a new piece of DLC for the game titled Animal Crossing New Horizons: Happy Home Paradise and brings with it enhancements to interior decorating.

But it wasn’t just Animal Crossing that got some announcements, as Nintendo announced the price for their updated Online subscription. For $49.99 a year, you’ll gain access to a selection of Nintendo 64 and SEGA Genesis games, but you’ll also get the Happy Home Paradise DLC for free.

Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles was recently released, though the game’s post-launch support has already been announced. The game will be adding six new characters to the roster for free! The first two characters that’ll be added are Rui and Akaza, though no release date for it has been announced at this time. We will be posting an in-depth review of this game, so make sure to watch our social media and check back.

NIS America’s next big RPG, MONARK just got a brand new trailer, with it focusing on the adversaries players will be going up against.

MONARK releases for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on February 22, 2022.

Being introduced way back in 2015, Older Neptune from the Hyperdimension Neptunia series is finally getting her first game! Dimension Tripper Neptune: TOP NEP is an arcade rail shooter similar to SEGA’s Space Harrier and has a retro art style with a heavy reliance on pixel art.

Anime News:

Entertainment giant Disney is taking steps to add anime series that’ll stream exclusively on their streaming service, Disney+. There are three series currently confirmed to be coming to the platform: Yojohan Time Machine Blues, Summer Time Rendering, and Black Rock Shooter DAWN FALL. But that’s not all! Disney, with the help of Aniplex, are producing an anime exclusively for Disney+. Based on the Twisted Wonderland mobile game, it takes the famous villains from Disney’s film catalog and reimagines them with the art style of Yana Toboso, who is the creator of the Black Butler manga series.

It’s been a while since the first part of Attack on Titan‘s final season ended, but we now have clarity on when the series will continue. The second part of the final season was confirmed to begin airing on January 9th, 2022, with a trailer released alongside the announcement.

Before the premiere of the live-action adaptation on November 19th, fans of the classic anime, Cowboy Bebop will have a way to watch the entire series on Netflix. The original anime will be available to watch worldwide on Netflix on October 21st, so if you’ve never watched this well-loved classic or have the urge to rewatch it, now’s your perfect opportunity!

Following its successful Japanese debut back in July, Mamoru Hosoda’s latest film, BELLE is coming to US theatres! With the help of GKIDS distributing the film in the west, BELLE will be premiering in US theatres on January 14th, 2022.

But before that, a much-loved anime film from Studio Ghibli is returning to US theatres! Howl’s Moving Castle is one of Hayao Miyazaki’s most popular films, and you can see it on the big screen on October 24th, 25th, and 28th. Tickets are now available to reserve on GKIDS’ website.

Based on the original manga, My Dress-Up Darling is getting an anime adaptation! Created by Shinichi Fukuda, the series is a romantic comedy, but with a focus on cosplaying. The series is being produced by CloverWorks and even though no release date was announced, we received the first key visual for the series.

A sequel to an RPG set in a virtual reality world is set to release this week! The Caligula Effect 2 is a turn-based JRPG, so if you looking forward to seeing how the story continues, this should be a title on your radar.

The classic Japanese horror game Corpse Party is making its way to more systems this week, just in time for Halloween! Not only that, but it also comes with changes to the user interface, as well as two new chapters not in the original game.

The enhanced version of Corpse Party arrives for PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on October 20th.

Looking for a new 2D roguelike to play but don’t have a PC? Skul: The Hero Slayer should be just what you’re looking for! Its main selling point is you’re able to get different types of heads that’ll give you different abilities.
