This week’s Nook News is a visual novel-only edition as our regular news writer is taking a well-earned break over the Christmas season. Our regularly scheduled news round ups on games and anime will be back soon.

NekoNyan and Hikari Field have announced the upcoming release date of Yuzusoft’s Angelic☆Chaos RE-BOOT (Tenshi☆Souzou RE-BOOT!). It is due to release on January 24th, 2024 and will be releasing on JAST, Hikari Field’s Store, Mangagamer, Denpasoft, Fakku, and Kagura.
It will not be releasing on Steam due to this title being banned. They have previously stated that Steam sales typically make up 99.9% of sales for a game like Angelic☆Chaos RE-BOOT, so this is likely to severely affect the financial success of the release.
She appeared suddenly, and without warning―a beautiful girl who called herself an angel. Spreading her large, snow-white wings, she made a declaration that would forever change my life. “I come in search of the Demon Lord’s reincarnation.” “That being you, Tanikaze Riku.” That’s right, apparently I was a Demon Lord in my previous life. From some other world to boot. Unfortunately for me, the anarchy wouldn’t stop there. Memories from a previous life, visitors from another world… It was just one crazy, chaotic event after the other. “Wait, what? But that doesn’t― Huh?!” Thus began the story of Tanikaze Riku, a tale marked by the loss of his normal life, along with so many other precious things.
In other news related to Yuzusoft titles which were published by NekoNyan, Yuzusoft recently announced that Sabbat of the Witch (Sanoba Witch) has surpassed 300,000 copies sold and Café Stella and the Reaper’s Butterflies has surpassed 200,000 copies sold.

Frontwing have announced the upcoming release of Perennial Dusk -Kinsenka- (Hanataba o Kimi ni Okurou -Kinsenka-) in 2025. The scenario is by Urushibara Yukito who has worked on titles such as Irotoridori no Sekai – The Colorful World (which is on our Top Visual Novels Of 2024 list) and Sakura, Moyu. -as the Night’s, Reincarnation- which is very well regarded.

MangaGamer have revealed the release date of The Alchemist & His Battle-Scarred Homunculus. It is scheduled to release on Steam and MangaGamer on Jan 23rd, 2024.
This heartwarming and dramatic tale follows Rakels, the young alchemist who helped create living homunculi to better the lives of mankind, only to have his partner betray him and turn their creations into tools of war. After years of exile for speaking out against their use as weapons during the war, Rakels discovers the battered form of Mel, a homunculus who was discarded by a slave trader. As the two begin to confront their traumatic pasts together, a new bond is formed that helps them heal and forge a loving future together. Ramune Games has now released LingerieS. Hadashi Shoujo, a brand known for nukige titles, is the parent company of the new Ramune Games imprint. This is the first release under the name Ramune Games. A demo is available.
The 18+ DLC is available directly on Steam at an extra cost.
The main character, Aoi Miyamae, is asked by his twin sister, Riko, to dress up as a woman and work as a clerk at ‘LingerieS’, a high-end women’s lingerie specialty store, in her place. Aoi discovers the depth of women’s lingerie and develops a bond with the women who visit the store…
Holy Undead (Holy Undead ~Himote de Bocchi no Shirei Jutsushi ga, Seijo ni Tensei Shite Otomodachi o Fuyashimasu~) was released on December 20th, 2024 both physically in Japan and didtally. It did have a Steam page, which has since been delisted. Visual Arts have not made a statement at the time of writing about the situation.
It can be bought on DLSite, as well as other retailers. It is not at this time available on websites primarily used by the international visual novel community such as JAST USA.
An undead-loving necromancer is reincarnated as a saint!? By chance, the necromancer Frankel is reborn as Yurishia, a girl with the incredible qualities of a saint. Today, too, she ignores the expectations of those around her and forges ahead on her path to collecting undead.
