Visual Novel News:
The Streamer’s Alt Account Labyrinth (Haishin Shoujo no Uraaka Meikyuu) has been announced for an international release, making it the first title by Acacia with an official English release. While tagged as a visual novel and screenshot show visual novel gameplay, the store page also mentions “Dungeon Exploration”. It’s not currently known what the balance it between these.
Notably, this is from the same developer as the popular visual novel, Magical Girl Witch Trials (Mahou Shoujo no Majo Saiban), who haven’t yet confirmed an English release of that title but have indicated their interest in an interview.

The second piece of DLC for Digimon Story: Time Stranger was given full details. Titled Additional Digimon & Episode Pack 2: GAKU-RAN lets you play a new questline themed around Hiroko Sagisaka, while also including new Mega Digivolution lines to add more Digimon to your party. They include BanchoStingmon, BanchoMamemon, BanchoLilymon, and BanchoGolemon.
The Additional Digimon & Episode Pack 2: GAKU-RAN DLC for Digimon Story: Time Stranger will be available in January 2026.

Kyoto Animation’s next project has been revealed! They’ll be creating an anime adaptation of RuriDragon and was announced in the form of a short trailer. Originally created by Masaoki Shindo and currently being published in Shounen Jump +, the manga is about a girl named Ruri who’s a half dragon thanks to traits from her human mother and dragon father. As luck would have it, her dragon traits start manifesting while in school, causing her life to completely turn on its head.
No release window for RuriDragon has been announced at this time.

After over 40 years, famous animation studio Gainax have officially closed their doors. They were known for some of the most influential and popular anime over the last few decades like Neon Genesis Evangelion, Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water, Gunbuster, FLCL, and Gurren Lagann. Co-founder of Gainax, Hideaki Anno announced in a blog post that the remaining rights of series produced at the company have returned to their respective owners, meaning Gainax has officially ended operations.
