Visual Novel News:
JAST USA has announced that Tokyo Necro by Nitroplus will be released soon. An exact date has not been given, but it is available to pre-order on JAST and to wishlist on Steam and GOG.
Appearing to be a sci-fi action visual novel, it describes itself as such: Our story begins when So’un discovers an amnesiac girl in a car trunk after what was seemingly a routine, if not harrowing, encounter with a hostile Necromancer. The girl is being pursued by a mysterious group of Necromancers known only as The Laboratory. Things escalate from there, with both So’un and Ethica discovering that their pasts and heritage must be confronted should they wish to move forward.
Ebi-hime has announced that their yuri visual novel, The Fairy’s Secret has been approved for release on Steam.
Describing it as a ‘cute romance story about a grumpy goth girl and her cheerful knight girlfriend with some fantasy elements’, this Original English Language Visual Novel is expected to release on the 13th February, 2023.
Medibang has launched A Maiden Astrologer Divines the Future, a kinetic yuri visual novel, on Itch.io. It describes itself as about an astrologer named Izumi, who feels happy when making other people happy and supporting them.

Capcom’s next big title is less than two months away, so you were probably wondering when we’d get some kind of update on it. Game Informer has your answer: throughout February, they will have exclusive coverage and reveals for the Resident Evil 4 remake! One of the longer showcases is a playthrough of the fifth chapter of the game.
The Resident Evil 4 remake releases for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, and PC on March 24th.

After its recent release in Japan, we have been waiting for confirmation of a western release of the latest entry in the Disgaea series. NIS America finally answered that question, as Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless has been confirmed for a western release this Fall! The game will be introducing new features such as item reincarnation, Jumbification, and Hell Mode.
Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless launches for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC this Fall.

Seven years after it was first announced, the One Piece live-action adaptation is now closer than ever! Netflix recently released two new promotional posters: one with protagonist Monkey D. Luffy, and the other giving us our first look at the Straw Hat crew, along with the iconic Going Merry ship. Netflix also confirmed that the series will premiere sometime in 2023 and you can now add it to your watch list on their streaming service.
Anime’s most famous magical girl is once again coming to the big screen for the finale of its remake series! Sailor Moon Cosmos will be adapting the final arc, the Shadow Galactica arc from the original manga across two films that will both be released in Japan this June. While there is no word when it will get a western release, we were provided a new key visual and trailer to build up anticipation.
