Some Some Convenience Store has been announced for a Nintendo Switch release for an unannounced date in 2023. A PC release has been available since January 2022 with options for English, Korean, and Chinese text and Korean audio. TALESSHOP have confirmed to us that these will be present in the Switch release.

PLiCy has announced the upcoming release of Dormitory Love on the Nintendo Switch. This otome visual novel will be released on the 28th April, 2023.
Set in a student dormitory in Tokyo, this game follows the story of Jun Minase, who suddenly finds herself working as the dorm manager for a group of international students. With six love interests to choose from, there’s someone for everyone. You can pursue the calm and serious German, Felix, or the selfish yet charming femboy Frenchman, Guillaume. Koropokkur in Love ~A Little Fairy’s Tale~ has been released on the Epic Games Store. This is the first of their titles to be released on their platform.
Somewhere in Hokkaido lies a small village of fairies, once known to the locals as ‘Koropokkur.’ As times changed, their village prohibited its residents from interacting with the human world and the Koropokkur were long forgotten. However, a few of these young Koropokkur became fascinated with the human world and gazed upon it through a magic viewing pool. Asirrera, in particular, was enamored with an ancient Koropokkur legend of a young girl who ventured out into the human world, became human through the grace of Kanda’s Kamuy, the local deity, and found love with a human man.

The latest entry in the Xenoblade franchise is getting a huge story expansion this week! The Future Redeemed DLC for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is a prequel to the events of the main game and promises to tie together all three main games. It will also be including brand new characters, along with fan favorites that will no doubt tug on some heartstrings. This expansion will also be adding in new mechanics, like the Unity Combo mechanic.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3‘s Future Redeemed DLC will be released on April 25th.

We’re less than two months away from Capcom’s landmark fighting game franchise releasing its sixth mainline entry! As such, they hosted a thirty-minute showcase going over a ton of the systems available in the game, with a large focus on the single-player content called World Tour mode. Aside from this, they also revealed multiple control options, a host of other game modes, and even a full lineup of post-launch DLC. The DLC characters include Rashid, A.K.I, Ed, and Akuma, and will be released until the Summer of 2024. And on top of all of this, you can get a taste of the full game with a demo, which is now available on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, with it arriving on Xbox Series X and PC on April 26th.

Remember that spin-off series that was announced before the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 in movie theaters last year? Well, we’ve heard that it has now begun production! This spin-off series stars Knuckles the Echidna, once again played by Idris Elba, and sees him taking on Wade as a protégé about the ways of being an echidna warrior. We know that Jeff Fowler is returning to direct the series pilot, but aside from a teaser image with something that fans of the Sonic the Hedgehog OVA will surely recognize, there’s no news on a release window as of now.
Anime News:
Rent-a-Girlfriend is returning for a third season later this year! The series tells the story of a college student meeting a rental girlfriend named Mizuhara Chizuru. Making things more complicated, he tells his friends and family that Chizuru is his actual girlfriend, and as you might expect, this leads to romantic comedy hijinks. Regarding the third season, we received a new piece of key art and a release window of July 2023.

Don’t think anyone saw this coming! Fairy Fencer F is releasing a sequel almost a decade after the initial release titled Fairy Fencer F: Refrain Chord. The biggest change is that it is no longer a turn-based RPG; rather, it goes for a tactical RPG system.
Fairy Fencer F: Refrain Chord launches for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on April 25th, with the PC version arriving on May 23rd.
Need another high-quality mobile game to play other than Genshin Impact? Well, you’re in luck, as the same studio is releasing a brand-new game this week! Honkai: Star Rail is developed by HoyoVerse and is the second installment in the Honkai series, with the first being Honkai Impact 3rd. The big difference here is that this new game uses turn-based combat and the ability to explore gorgeous environments and dungeons.

Four years ago, Star Wars fans received a fantastic action title with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Now a sequel to that highly revered game is launching this week! Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is set five years after the original and sees you back in the shoes of Cal Kestis trying to survive the Empire’s efforts to exterminate the surviving Jedi.
