Visual Novel News:
NekoNyan has announced that Happiness! Sakura Celebration by developer Windmill Oasis will be releasing later this month, though an exact release date is yet to be announced.
Let my feelings be conveyed! The year of the sakura–The one year out of every ten where the cherry blossoms bloom unusually long, in which the annual festivals are celebrated with much grandeur. With the return of the year of the sakura, various feelings begin to bloom as if they’d been waiting impatiently. “Seeing my big brother’s smiling face for the first time in two years…… This is where I belong after all.” “I know the truth…… That’s not his true self. This year for sure, I’ll……” “I wonder if I can really do it…… No, I must do it. I have to regain that relationship.” “My preparations should be more than enough. There’s no way I’ll let it go that way again……” And, “It’s been 10 years since I last came to this town, hasn’t it? Perhaps I’ll be able to see that person. I hope I see him……” All of these feelings entangle like cherry blossom petals dancing in the wind. And so begin the many stories……
In less positive news, NekoNyan have also stated that second attempt at a Steam release of Angelic☆Chaos RE-BOOT (Tenshi☆Souzou RE-BOOT!) has been blocked. Staff added more detail in their Discord server stating that the ban message was about not resubmitting games and that they’re now focusing on how to make the release as successful as possible without Steam. They have previously stated that Steam sales typically make up 99.9% of sales for a game like Angelic☆Chaos RE-BOOT.
An early 2025 release is expected on other storefronts.
She appeared suddenly, and without warning―a beautiful girl who called herself an angel. Spreading her large, snow-white wings, she made a declaration that would forever change my life. “I come in search of the Demon Lord’s reincarnation.” “That being you, Tanikaze Riku.” That’s right, apparently I was a Demon Lord in my previous life. From some other world to boot. Unfortunately for me, the anarchy wouldn’t stop there. Memories from a previous life, visitors from another world… It was just one crazy, chaotic event after the other. “Wait, what? But that doesn’t― Huh?!” Thus began the story of Tanikaze Riku, a tale marked by the loss of his normal life, along with so many other precious things.
Ebi-hime’s latest visual novel has released on Steam and Itch. It’s a yaoi story with a stated 110,000 words of text (approx 6-10 hours of reading) and a branching story with seven different endings.
