Shiravune has announced plans for 13 upcoming titles, which are stated to be “nearing completion in the remainder of 2022”. These include standard visual novels and what they called ‘genre-benders’. Looking at their previous titles and the ones we know about, this may be visual novels with RPG or Simulation elements. While we normally wait until our weekly news update, we wanted to bring this news out earlier.
While eight of these titles remain a mystery, news about the first five has been released. We’ve listed the titles below with VNDB links and romanizations of the Japanese titles from those pages.
Revenge of the Orcs: Flag of Conquest (Orc to Bijo Dorei ~Otosareta Uruwashiki Senshi-tachi~) from doujin circle Dieselmine is the first title.
It’s scheduled for release in July – August 2022.
Great Deceiver (Qui actus extorquere) is the second title. This is a collaboration between Elf and Empress, set in the same universe as Kisaku!
It’s scheduled for release in August 2022.
TAMAKAGURA: Tales of Turmoil (Tama Kagura ~Funtouki~) by Debonosu Works is the third title. In this title, you defeat demons with tactical gameplay.
It’s scheduled for release in Fall 2022.
Dawn of Kagura: Maika’s Story – The Dragon’s Wrath (Kagura Reimeiki ~Maika no Shou~ Ni) by Debonosu Works is the forth title. In this title, you play as a shrine maiden defeating yokai.
It’s scheduled for release in late Fall 2022.
HimeYoku: A Sacrifice of Lust and Grace (Hime to Aiyoku no Sacrifice) by Escu:de is the final title that we currently know about. It’s a “princess training” simulation with an occult fantasy plot. Escu:de is also behind Yamizome Revenger, which was localized and released by JAST USA in November 2021.
It’s scheduled for release in late Fall 2022.
