Home Sweet Homecoming – Walkthrough & Guide | E School Life

Home Sweet Homecoming (E School Life) includes a common route with seven heroine routes and two bad ends to unlock.

This guide will tell you about the choices to access the various routes and explain the situation regarding the patch.

Adult Content

If you have purchased the Steam version of Home Sweet Homecoming, you can download the 18+ DLC via the Patch.Moe Website.

To install the adult patch, download the patch, open the archive file with software such as 7Zip, and extract the files. Then run the .exe file and follow the instructions. You may need to select the install folder during this process.

Alternatively, you can buy the uncensored version of Home Sweet Homecoming on websites that support adult content, such as the JAST store.

Adult Scene and Appearance Choices

If you have the adult patch installed for Home Sweet Homecoming, you can choose whether some clothes stay on during the adult scenes (the default) or whether they are all removed. You can also choose to set the inside/outside choice for H-scenes here instead of choosing during each scene. This can be found in Settings under Love Scene Settings.

In addition, you can choose how Rin’s appearance changes during her route. This is done via a choice near the start of her route and is outlined in her route walkthrough below.

Gossip System, Maps, and Profiles

During Home Sweet Homecoming, you’ll encounter three types of choices:

• Speaking with other students
• Selecting a heroine (in most cases on a map)
• Typical visual novel choices

The general flow of gameplay requires that you select a room and then click on a specific student in that room to unlock information about a heroine. You can then end the segment (or speak with the others if you prefer). All students will have something to say, whether about one of the heroines or just general chatter.

If you select the correct student during this process, then on the following ‘map’ scene, the heroine’s icon will say ‘Got Gossip’, and you’ll be able to fully complete her scene if you click on her. You may need to choose to Go Upstairs to find the heroine’s icon.

Choosing the right dialogue choice during this scene (if applicable) then gains you the gossip, which is added to the profile section found in the options.

Route Order and Structure

There are no routes that require unlocking in Home Sweet Homecoming, and no recommended route order.

Emi Hanazono Route

Choose:

• Go to bed at the usual time

• Go to bed early

You can unlock this ending by reaching the end of the common route without becoming close enough to anyone. The following walkthrough is just one method.
