The highly-anticipated crossover between Hyperdimension Neptunia and Senran Kagura titled Senran Nin Nin Ninja Taisen Neptune: Shoujo-tachi no Kyouen received quite a few new details! The game has confirmed 10 playable characters, four from each franchise and two brand new characters exclusive to this crossover. The game will use an action system similar to Tamsoft’s Senran Kagura series, though a bit slower than some of the prior entries. To top it off, a mechanic revolved around meditating at hot springs is also included.
Senran Nin Nin Ninja Taisen Neptune: Shoujo-tachi no Kyouen has no western release date at this time.

Anime News:
It seems like such a long time since the announcement of Junji Ito’s critically-acclaimed Uzumaki anime adaptation, but we’ve finally gotten a long-needed update on the project. The anime’s director, Hiroshi Nagahama apologized for the delay, sighting that COVID-19 greatly affected the series’ production. They showed a small section of the first episode, showcasing the beautiful black-and-white visual style that harkens back to Junji Ito’s original manga. To conclude the update, we received a new release window for the series.
Uzumaki‘s anime adaption will premiere in October 2022.

It’s been quite a few years, but a second season of Saga of Tanya the Evil has finally been confirmed! Based off a series of light novels, this unique take on the popular isekai genre has been in print for almost 8 years and got turned into a successful anime adaptation in 2017. A lot of the original staff, such as director, writer, and animation studio are returning for this second season, with them announcing it in the form of a teaser trailer.
The second season of Saga of Tanya the Evil has no premiere date at this time.

Keeping with the theme of isekai series, we have another one getting an anime adaptation. Isekai Ojisan/Uncle from Another World is a comedy manga series from mangaka Hotondoshindeiru about an uncle who awakens after 17 years of being in another world and has to learn to adapt to modern society. The twist is the uncle also got obsessed with video games during that time! The anime project was announced in a video that also promoted the sixth volume releasing.

From some of the team behind the Tales Of series, Scarlet Nexus is an action RPG with a high emphasis on psychokinetic action and two playable characters. There’s also a demo available if you want to try out the game ahead of its release.
