Saku Saku: Love Blooms with the Cherry Blossoms has a fairly simple route system. The heroine who you choose the highest number of positive responses for is chosen. If it’s a tie, then tiebreaker choices are presented. In addition, there is an unlockable route which is selectable from the title screen.
This guide will tell you which choices to make for the most efficient playthrough of the four main heroine routes, an alternative set of choices for a more ‘natural’ playthrough, and how to unlock Tina’s route.
There are no Steam achievements for Saku Saku: Love Blooms with the Cherry Blossoms.
18+ Content
If you wish to access the 18+ content, it is recommended to buy it via Denpasoft. There is no official method of patching the 18+ content of into the Steam version. In exchange, the Steam version of Saku Saku: Love Blooms with the Cherry Blossoms is notably cheaper. This does mean that any unofficial method of patching the 18+ content in including the one listed on VNDB is unsupported and would be using content exclusive to the more expensive adult version.
Route Order
Aside from Tina’s route, all routes can be accessed from the start. With that said, I recommend the route order Mio > Yuri > Konami > Ann > Tina. as these build on each other nicely to reveal the protagonists backstory and the secret of what’s happening in the background.
The Four Main Heroines – Easiest Method
If you choose the following five options, then you will be directly presented with a choice of who to select.
1) Politely Decline
2) Invite her to the school cafeteria
3) Cover for her
4) Just let her treat me
5) Listen to Senpai’s request
Choosing these will then unlock a 6th set of choices:
My encounter with Jinpou-senpai
The never-changing days with Mio
Konami’s enrollment
Getting closer with Tsukishima
Whichever one of these you choose will start that characters route. If you save at this point, it will let you efficiently load and choose the next route after.
Alternately you can choose ‘Let Her Help’ for 1) and this will give you four choices as the tiebreaker for 5), but they’re less obvious on which choice is for who.
The Four Main Heroines – The Natural Method
If you wish for a more natural-feeling method and to see all of the scenes with the heroines, you can instead go a more natural route. If you choose the choice in bold below for the heroine whose route you want to enter and choose the non-bolded one for all of the others, this will also work.
1) Let her help / Politely decline (Ann)
2) Invite her to the school cafeteria / Decline her offer (Konami)
3) Don’t say anything / Cover for her (Mio)
4) Just let her treat me / Pass on her offer (Yuri)
Assuming that you only choose one bolded option, there will be no fifth or sixth choices presented.
Tina’s Route
This will be unlocked after finishing Ann’s route. You can select it from the title menu.
