MangaGamer has announced that the HD multi-language release of Rose Guns Days Season 1 comes out on April 9th on MangaGamer and Steam. It will be released in four separate chapters
This action-suspense thriller takes place in an alternate history Japan where a natural disaster during World War 2 forced Japan to capitulate to Sino-American forces before the use of the bomb, resulting in a nation divided piecemeal between China and America as both force the native Japanese into the minority as they compete for political superiority in the occupied nation. When a war veteran and the proprietress of brothel find themselves at the center of multiple gang conflicts, the growing strife soon leads to the birth of a new mafia family aiming to gain power within City 23 to secure the future for their Japanese brethren. Blood, bullets, and tears will fly as mafia vie for control and clash with the occupation forces.

Good Smile Company has announced the simultaneous Japanese and English release of Nekopara Sekai Connect on Android/iOS on April 14th, 2026. Nekopara Sekai Connect (commonly abbreviated as Nekoconne), was developed in collaboration with NEKO WORKs and planned by Sayori, the original creator of Nekopara.
Pre-registration is available for the smartphone version. A PC version is planned for a release later in 2026 and will feature cross-account linking with the smartphone version.
In addition to the update on Nekopara Sekai Connect, it has also been announced that the NEKOPARA series has now surpassed 7 million copies sold worldwide across all platforms.
Gaming News:
Resident Evil Requiem has had an incredibly successful launch, with the title reaching over five million sales in its first week on sale. To celebrate the milestone, Koshi Nakanishi, the director of the game appeared on camera to reveal future plans for Resident Evil Requiem. A Photo Mode is being added, along with a mini-game that we’ll be getting in May. But that wasn’t all, as story expansion content was confirmed to be in development.

The final trailer for Nintendo and Illumination’s Super Mario Galaxy Movie was revealed a few weeks before the film’s release. Alongside the trailer, we got more information on who’ll be playing some of the characters, such as Issa Rae is playing Honey Queen, Luis Guzman will be providing the voice for Wart, and Donald Glover is voicing Yoshi.

Yoshi’s next big game got some new updates recently via a new trailer. Yoshi and the Mysterious Book sees Yoshi jumping inside a sentient book named Mr. E as you discover the many forgotten species of creatures within the tome’s pages. As you find out what each creature can do, they’ll be recorded, such as their abilities or what happens when they eat certain foods. By making discoveries, you’ll earn stars that you can then use to explore new locations.
Yoshi and the Mysterious Book will be available exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2 on May 21st.

During the celebrations for Falcom’s 45th anniversary, we learned something fans of the Trails series will surely find interesting. Falcom president, Toshihiro Kondo said that the final game in the Trails series is set to be announced for Falcom’s 50th anniversary in 2031. Work on the game is already underway with the ending already being decided.

The third and final piece of DLC for Digmon Story Time Stranger was given a new trailer just before its release. Titled Anti-ParadoX, it revolves around a program named the X Program, or as it’s also known, the Digimon Elimination Program. New Digimon based on their X-Antibody variants will be available in this new update.

The fifth out of seven DLC characters for Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles 2 was given a showcase trailer. The next character coming to the game is a version of Giyu Tomioka set during the events of the Infinity Castle movie.

Anime News:
Based on Shinichiro Watanabe’s classic anime, Samurai Champloo is getting the live-action treatment. Tomorrow Studios, who are well-known for their recently successful One Piece live-action adaptation for Netflix, are handling the project, with Shinichiro Watanabe also being brought in. The series is currently in the early stages of development, so we likely won’t hear any updates for a while.

Upcoming Releases:
After an unexpected delay, the next big open-world game with an anime art style is ready for release this week. The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is a free-to-play game has you exploring the beautiful world of Britannia and lets you take on real-time raid battles with other players to vanquish intimidating bosses.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin releases for PlayStation 5 and PC on March 16th, with iOS and Android versions being available on March 23rd.
