Riddle Joker – Walkthrough & Guide

Riddle Joker includes a common route with five heroine routes and a ‘normal/bad ending’. One route is locked behind other routes.

This guide will tell you about the choices to access the various routes, and explain the situation regarding the patch.

Adult Content

If you have purchased the Steam version of Riddle Joker, you can download the free 18+ DLC via NekoNyan website.

To install the patch, open the .7z file with 7Zip and extract adult.xp3, adult.xp3.sig, adult2.xp3, and adult2.xp3.sig into the folder where Riddle Joker is installed (for example: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RiddleJoker)

Alternatively, you can buy the full version of Riddle Joker on websites that support adult content such as JAST USA. This includes all of the content without any requirement for patches.

After completing heroine routes, an After Story is accessible from the title menu.

Route Order and Flowchart

You can complete the routes in any order, except for the side-heroine Chisaki. 

I would recommend the route order Nanami > Hazuki > Chisaki > Mayu > Ayase. This isn’t too important, but Mayu and Ayase are the most plot-relevant routes.

When you have completed Riddle Joker, you can use the flowchart function to quickly change your answers to choices rather than replaying the entire visual novel.

Steam Achievements

Complete all routes to get all Steam achievements.

Ayase Route

Choose:

• Continue the test with Shikibe-senpai
• I want to see how Nijouin-san is doing
• Don’t bother
• Go to the president’s room and ask Mitsukasa-san
• The one we always go to
• Mibu-san

Nanami Route

Choose:

• Ask Nanami if she wants to try
• I want to see how Nanami is doing
• No, I’d better not
• Give her a sincere compliment
• Go to the lab and ask Mayu-senpai
• Mibu-san

Mayu Route

Choose:

• Continue the test with Shikibe-senpai
• I want to see how Nanami is doing
• Don’t bother
• Go to the lab and ask Mayu-senpai
• Mayu-senpai

Hazuki Route

Choose:

• Ask Nanami if she wants to try
• I want to see how Nijouin-san is doing
• Don’t bother
• Go to the president’s room and ask Mitsukasa-san
• The one we always go to
• Nijouin-san

Chisaki Route:

You must first complete at least one other heroine route. 

Choose:

• Ask Nanami if she wants to try
• I want to see how Nanami is doing
• Ask her
• Don’t bother
• Go to the lab and ask Mayu-senpai
• Mibu-san

Normal Ending:

Choose:

• Ask Nanami if she wants to try
• I want to see how Nijouin-san is doing
• No, I’d better not
• Give her a sincere compliment
• Go to the lab and ask Mayu-senpai
• Mibu-san
